Black XChange

Black XChange is here to create Systemic change. You cannot fight systemic oppression with individual advancement, the story that most of us have been sold. You can fight systemic oppression with collective, methodical, intentional movement.

The Black XChange Goals:
Black consumers and allies of the Black community can invoke change in Black communities via becoming more aware of where dollars are spent. Consumers can change their spending habits overnight or overtime, a form of investing into the Black community.
Black business owners in turn can take on the responsibility of reinvesting into the community: spend with other Black businesses, provide employment in Black communities, and raise awareness to businesses that might not be practicing these disciplines.

As we move into a paradigm where an individual of the Black community can open a business in their community, offer a legitimate and competitive service, and have the support of the community, we can begin to realize the power of ownership and develop a sense of pride in our communities. The hope is that one day you do not have to move out but want to move into the Black community.

The goal is to not assist a couple of businesses here and there. While that cause is noble and can benefit individuals and businesses on a micro-level it is simply not enough to bring about the macro change for which our community expresses a need.

Use 3 types of filters: Keyword Search, Business Categories, and Radius.

Create a list of favorite businesses.
Like your favorite businesses to improve their positioning towards the top of the deck.

Businesses can:
Create a business card that displays
Business Name, Location, and Photo on the front
Business Details on the back.
Add multiple businesses that include information about the Owners
Add alternate business locations.
Add multiple business discounts.
