What is it about?

For individual Ethereum accounts and smart contracts. We use real-time blockchain data to assess certain smart contract security risk such as open token approvals, and various alerts from real-time blockchain security feeds. Currently the data is somewhat raw as I evaluate opportunities to consolidate the output. Any feedback is appreciated: j2abro@gmail.com. We are adding additional checks and alerts in future versions.

For individual Ethereum accounts and smart contracts. This provides two methods to check for security risk:

1) SCAN: BlockPing scan an address for open Token Approvals for approvals which your address has provided to other contracts, and we filter those for approvals that are still open. The impact of the open approvals is that those entities could drain your account, either maliciously or if they get hacked or otherwise compromised. It's very important to be aware of open approvals as this represents a risk of loss. BlockPing also monitors an address in the 'Monitor' tab where to check for open approvals daily and alert to any changes.
2) THREATS: in the 'Threats' tab users can scan alerts for any address (for example a definite decentralized exchange / DEX) to review any alerts associated with the address. For example this would alert you to low liquidity in the DEX which could indicate that it's risky to to business with them. Or it can, for example, alert you that the contract we created anonymously which indicates its a likely scam token.
