Bloom is a fresh new interactive social, and dating app. Bloom is here to target all the features you as users wanted to see and things you wanted to fix about online dating apps. Our focus is keeping a safe and user verified space to bring positive connections and interactions between genuine people. Our app is fighting the negative stigma of the online dating and hookup culture and focusing on nurturing great connections between people.

PROFILE VERIFICATION

Fake profiles are one of the biggest concerns in the online dating world. Bloom steps in to solve this problem by requiring users to verify themselves through video and picture uploads. Once the users are verified, their profile will be shown as “Account is verified” and we have an ongoing process in the backend to keep profile verifications long term. We work to make sure everyone on the app is exactly who they claim to be so you can feel safe communicating with them.

PROFILE COMPLIMENTING

To make online dating more than just browsing through a catalog of people, Bloom comes with a new type of feature called the “compliment button”. We aim to target negative online communication experiences by dealing with online harassers immediately, and incentivizing those who are polite communicators. With a list of possible compliments to give like respectful, funny, caring, kind, thoughtful, and honest you can encourage positive communications by giving other users a compliment.

WEEKLY RANKING BOARD

Online dating should be fun! Our “Weekly rankings” page is another unique feature within the app. Through the complimenting button, the app will rank users based on the complements they received. Whoever has the highest compliment in each category will be featured on the ranking board. This allows more engagement within the community more than just an endless swipe as you are able to view who is the most complimented in your local area, and vice versa that profile gets viewed by more people.

Bloom takes different approaches toward online dating by allowing to people to upload or take their videos and pictures. When browsing through profiles in Bloom, users will be able to play through various videos uploaded by others. Our video based app is a social and dating network for people to find someone special, a friend, or event an artistic collaboration. You can showcase your personality or your work on your profile with four spots for videos or photos. Let others know how you are feeling or what you are looking for with your status.
