BOSIG acoustic app
What is it about?
The BOSIG acoustic app allows sound level and reverberation time to be determined very accurately. The BOSIG acoustic app measures the sound level and presents the result in dB, plus a representative image from everyday life. The BOSIG acoustic app also offer the option of measuring the reverberation time of rooms or halls. Reverberation time is defined as the time in which the sound pressure in a room will diminish to 0.1 percent of initial value after the sound is abruptly cut at its source โ this is also equal to a reduction of 60 dB. Only the type of use of the room according to DIN 18041 and the dimensions of the room are required here. The BOSIG acoustic app will use these data to calculate the reverberation time of the room in question. Based on this result, the BOSIG acoustic app will also propose various products suitable for achieving a recommended reverberation time. You may then contact us directly about your results, for competent and professional advice by one of our specialised trade partners. In addition to the two measuring instruments, we also offer a small acoustics dictionary and different room scenarios to demonstrate the various sound absorbers and how to fit them.
