During rehearsals of several dozen pieces, conductors need to verify tempo quickly
BPMer
What is it about?
During rehearsals of several dozen pieces, conductors need to verify tempo quickly. However, setting the tempo by tapping or turning a dial takes time, and tapping the next section's BPM while conducting requires advanced skills. That's why an app was developed to allow conductors to quickly enter the desired BPM using a 10-key keypad. The app employs a click sound similar to the UREI Click used as a standard in recording studios worldwide. The app also features a layout where two points alternate blinking in synchronization with the click, making it possible to recognize the tempo even with the metronome sound muted if the app is in view.
