Breath of Prayer

BreathofPrayer is an app that allows you to stop and take a breath, breathing in the word of God and breathing out your whispered prayers. Each day you will have the opportunity to read a new verse from the Bible through “Daily Scripture” and the “Daily Prayer” is meant to be a prayer relating to the verse. Essentially, allowing you to pray God’s word back to Him in a deep and personal way.

You will also be able to post any prayer requests you may have under “Prayers”. You can post them anonymously if you choose. Others who use the app will be able to let you know that they are praying for you by “lighting” a candle. As you scroll through the prayer requests, you may also find yourself encouraged knowing that some of the daily life struggles you are facing, others face as well and that you are not alone in your battles.

Through BreathofPrayer you will have easy access to devotionals and blog entries under “Apron Strings”. These are personal and relatable devotions that help you recognize how we can apply the teachings found in the Bible to our daily lives as well as how present the Lord really is.

Under “Resources” you will have access to the New Living Translation Bible. God’s word is just a touch away for you to explore and meditate upon. Having a translation of the Bible that is easy to read and understand with you where ever you go is sure to help you develop a deeper connection to your Lord and Savior.

There is also a book mark feature that allows you to book mark your favourite scriptures, prayers and devotionals. They will be easy to find and access under the account tab.
