ABOUT BUDDY PROJECT

Buddy Project started as an online pairing system in April 2013, and grew into a non-profit organization aiming to raise awareness for mental health and prevent suicide in 2015. We’ve already paired over 236,000 people together since our creation, which has fostered many great friendships between buddies.

Buddy Project is a both an app and an organization. Although our organization focuses on mental health and suicide, our app is open to anyone regardless of their mental health status. Our app is for anyone who wants to find friendship. Buddy Project is here to connect people to potential friends, and it cannot be used in place of professional mental health help, therapy, or crisis counseling.
