HOW IT WORKS
Only people that you authorize to contact you through BuzzBell can contact you. The first step is to add your trusted contacts on BuzzBell to start the conversation. BuzzBell can be used for all conversations, but when it is really important, you can use the BUZZ or BELL feature to make sure your message or call is received and noticed immediately. First, we convert the text message to a text-to-voice VoIP internet call that allows them to receive the message even when not otherwise capable of launching the app (ie, when driving). If the VoIP text-to-voice call is unanswered, then a unique and continuous BUZZ (audible vibration) or BELL (ringtone) notification is sent to their phone ensuring that you get their attention. Both the BUZZ audible vibration and the BELL tone will continuously play until the receiver opens the App to guarantee they will notice the message or call. When you don’t have a time sensitive message and don’t use the BUZZ or BELL feature, they’ll simply receive the message or call along with a standard notification.

BUZZ / BELL NOTIFICATIONS
When you want to completely disconnect, toggle off BUZZ/BELL notifications in your Settings located under the Menu Tab. While BUZZ/BELL notifications are toggled off, BUZZ and BELL alerts will not audibly play to protect your quiet time. When you’re ready to receive audible bypass alerts again, simply toggle BUZZ/BELL notifications back on. With BuzzBell, you are always in control.

Additionally, BuzzBell follows all iOS guidelines. Therefore, we do not affect Do Not Disturb Mode. If you have Do Not Disturb enabled, BUZZ/BELL alert tones will not play.
