Colonies in the Wild Frontier is a tribute to folk music in its many forms. Spitzer Space Telescope's passion for Irish, English, Scottish, blues, Appalachian, and American old time music is impressively displayed in his modern folk songs. This album was written to simulate the way folk songs change over time by giving you up to 3 versions of the same song in different styles. Their authenticity is made even more convincing when watching the videos, each meticulously crafted to appear like "lost" folk music footage.
Designed, created and funded by Dan MacDonald Studios (danmacdonaldstudios.com), with app development by Rupert Deese, this app exhibits the immense creativity and craftsmanship of the man behind Spitzer Space Telescope, visual artist and designer Dan MacDonald.
