App Store Description

Traveling around Thailand and Cambodia with friends we quickly developed a love for the backpacker and hostel culture. It was an easy way to meet people and make the most of our holiday. Every traveler had a story to tell which made our own stories better, and every hostel had a theme which made it easy to discover each destination.

We fell in love with Thailand. Unfortunately, and as much as we appreciated the various hostel party cultures and social platforms we’d become a part of, we felt there was more we could do to improve interaction between travelers in different hostels and across several cities. As travellers we wanted to connect with others anonymously, share our experiences and meet more easily. And as it were, we couldn’t talk to each other, we couldn’t share stories, pictures, nor adventures instantly and anonymously with other travellers, as we would have wanted to. So, we built Hostel Crowds. Upon gaining popularity near the time of its release, a global restriction on traveling placed the anonymous travel share app on hold. Confronted with undefined timelines in the travel restrictions, Hostel Crowds pivoted to make use of the existing platform, in the interim, by building an anonymous share platform for students - Campus Hack.

The app enables students to connect to the most exciting and relevant conversations with other students in their university and city. Derived from Hostel Crowds, it allows its users to share stories, thoughts and their most epic life experiences whilst remaining completely anonymous.
