WHAT IS CANGOO?
Cangoo is a travel mediation app for taxi.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
To ensure legality and accuracy, drivers are registered by the admin after a document review.
Registered drivers will then receive a confirmation code at the phone number they provided.
Drivers can log in after the review and choose a vehicle from the available list to meet passenger requirements.
In order to track the journey, Cangoo needs the location of the driver and Google Maps to mark the planned route to the destination. Drivers can also accept payments for their journey using various methods, such as cash, PayPal or credit card (provided that Stripe is used for this).
Cangoo needs Pushy to send or receive instant notifications, as well as to contact the passenger.
With Cangoo, both spontaneous and later planned routes can be accepted.
The trips are recorded in the form of a booking history, which includes upcoming, accepted and rejected trips.
After the end of the trip, the passenger will be informed of the tariff details.
Passengers can be rated and also marked as favorites.
Cangoo receives a points system that is dependent on the journey. With the points received, the driver can activate priority hours. However, if the driver cancels a trip after confirmation, points are deducted, which makes it difficult to activate a priority hour.
In an emergency, the admin sends the driver the notification to go to the web portal, which can be accessed from the news feed menu. The drivers also receive an individual invitation code with which passengers can register. As a reward, the driver receives points and the passenger a voucher.
At the end of the month, the driver can request the travel amount received by credit card or PayPal. The monthly earnings can be checked in the booking process.
