Check In, Check Out Business

A tool to simplify track and trace efforts of your business, by anonymously informing you if any users who have visited your business/venue have reported a positive test.
This app has been created by a small team of researchers from Imperial College London on a voluntary basis.
The “Check In Check Out - Business” app is designed to be used by businesses/venues, and functions with its counterpart app: “Check in Check Out”, which is used by everyday users/customers who interact with your business. As a user enters your business, simply put your device near the user’s device and tap “Check in”, on the home screen. As the user leaves, you do the same, and tap “Check out”.
If a user that has checked into your business over the last 14 days has reported a positive test, your business will receive an alert regarding this event, as well as information pertaining to which zone the user was situated in, and the date and time the user was checked in. All other users who checked into your business during overlapping times will be simultaneously alerted. No personal information of the user who reported a positive test is taken, therefore no personal information about the user can be provided.
Information provided to your business regarding positive tests reported allows your business to take necessary precautions and manually contact any person that was in your business, but did not have the app.
This app will not, and is not capable of providing personal information of the user who reported a positive test.
