Chicken on Mars

A multiplayer social educational game.

You are stranded on Mars. You are one of a group of space travellers that traveled to Mars to establish the first colony. Everything went well until an outbreak of an unknown virus hit the young colony. The mission control on Earth decided to play it safe and ordered a complete lockdown. All the colonists are locked in their rooms in each of the four living modules. You have food in the farm module, but it is depleting fast, and the recovery rates are slow.. Will you be able to convince other colonists to use it sparingly and avoid starving to death?

The situation in game comprises "the tragedy of the commons": a scenario in which players have access to a common resource, and there are no rules that establish regulations regarding its use. So all players are using resources based on their interest, which generally leads to the depletion of the resource and unfavorable outcomes for all participants unless they establish a common rule and adhere to it.
