It’s December, Christmas is around the corner, and we know as parents and adults that this month will fly by, as we find ourselves rushing to get the last presents on the shopping list. Kids on the other hand might have a different experience... one that involves a lot of waiting and patience, before being able to open such presents.

The concept of time is very hard to understand at a young age. “We leave in 10 minutes” is pretty straightforward for us, but for a 3-year-old there is nothing more confusing. To better illustrate the concept of time passing, an hourglass is very useful.
