App Store Description
Chroma is a drawing app made for people with autism that helps them express their creativity while learning about shapes, colors and other terms related to drawing, doodling, and art.
Research has shown that people with autism benefit from drawing and expressing their creativity, and we believe that the art of expression needs to be encouraged. Also, one of the members of TheGirlCode volunteers at Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN). When she shared her experiences with the rest of the team, TheGirlCode felt inspired to create an engaging and educational app that children alike would benefit using.
Through Chroma, users are able to scribble to their heart’s content. The app allows you to draw free hand, choose from a variety of shapes, and even insert text and emojis. Along with our simple interface, one of the most important features of Chroma is the audio that is paired with the buttons and colors of our app. This helps children navigate the app while at the same time teaches them the identification of shapes and colors.
With Chroma, we believe all people with autism can learn to express their creativity and find their inner artist.
