Civita Vive!

The app is a tale in five episodes. Five stories dotted around the enchanting hamlet of Civita di Bagnoregio. A visitor, walking through the town, will meet 5 characters who will appear on the screen of their smartphone. They are not just random strangers: these are the memories of people who actually lived in Civita, portrayed by the words and gestures of children and young people.

Virtualisation, automatic recognition of points of interest, visual effects and 360° video will make the experience unique.

The app comes in 7 languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese.

“Civita lives!” is not just an app. It’s part of a larger project! A project created as part of the EU financing POR FESR 2014-2020 “ABC, Art Beauty and Culture” by the Lazio Region. A project where storytelling, together with modern technologies applied to cultural heritage, makes a visit to Civita an emotional and knowledgeable experience, rather than the “hit and run” tourism of our times.

From 1 June to 31 August, from Tuesday to Sunday, 9.30 a.m. – 1. 30 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.
From 1 September to 31 May, from Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
