Clearwax App

The Clearwax App allows for advanced otoscopic and endoscopic imaging for the iPhone.
It enables the user to adjust focus (including autofocus), exposure, ISO, colour temperature and magnification for optimal high-definition imagery. Since the optimal parameters may differ from one otoscope and endoscope to another, the user is able to create multiple custom scopes with default pre-set parameters for ease of use and transitioning between scopes.

In addition, the user is also able to video record images, with an option of recording audio, as well as take still images. These are all stored in the advanced library set-up, which can be filtered in to videos, photos and also favourites. All images are time and date stamped, with the user being able to provide an individual ID name to a particular image. Videos can also be trimmed and shared, alongside photos, via many different mediums.

Can be used with both non-medical and medical endoscopes.

Medical otoscopes and endoscopes should be appropriately approved for their intended use in the end user marketplace.

This app is not intended for personal medical use. If used in conjunction with a medical endoscope, the user should be appropriately qualified and trained.

All users of this app should seek a doctors advice prior to making any medical decisions.

The Clearwax app is compatible with any endoscope having a 32mm eyepiece.
