This app includes 80 multiple choice self-assessment questions that complement the revised and updated third edition of Clinical Cases for General Practice Exams by Susan Wearne, published in 2015. The questions, written by Dr Genevieve Yates, will assist candidates to prepare for the Australian general practice clinical examination.
While the app can be used independently of the book, each question includes a cross reference to a relevant case within the book. In some instances the question style differs from the format used in national qualifying examinations for general practice.
The cases in Clinical Cases for General Practice Exams 3e are inspired by real-life patient presentations. They include instructions for both the exam candidate and the patient, as well as a suggested approach to each case, case commentary and common pitfalls. The book is designed for general practice registrars and international medical graduates training for general practice. Medical students may also find the book useful.
Clinical Cases for General Practice Exams 3e is available in print and as an ebook through https://www.mheducation.com.au.
