Breast Cancer Trials is a group of world-leading breast cancer researchers who conduct clinical trials research for the treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer.
Formerly known as the Australia and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group, we are the largest, independent, oncology clinical trials research group in Australia and New Zealand. Our research program involves multicentre national and international clinical trials, bringing together more than 800 researchers in more than 80 institutions.
For 40 years, our research program has explored and tested new and better ways of treating and preventing breast cancer. Our work has improved the treatment of breast cancer, led to changes in the way breast cancer is managed and has saved thousands of lives.Our research involves a unique collaboration between our members, women who participate in our clinical trials and our donor and supporters.Together, we are grounded and defined by one simple belief: We can and we will find new and better treatments and prevention strategies for every person affected by breast cancer, that saves lives today, tomorrow and forever.
