Cloud EDI 1.0 is the electronic interchange of business data information using a standardized format; a process that allows one company (a buyer) to send information to another company (a seller) electronically rather than with paper.
Business transactions can be exchanged using the Cloud EDI 1.0. The most common is the purchase orders. A buyer makes a buying decision, creates the purchase order and sends the purchase order to a Seller. Seller receives a purchase order notification on his side immediately. When the Seller supplies the order, a Buyer receives acknowledgment notification.
