Clues Up - Codeword Mini Game

Clues Up is a 2-player word association and guessing game. Players take turns giving clues and making guesses over a series of 10 hands. It’s casual, asynchronous, and even a little educational!


HOW TO PLAY

Challenge a friend to a game with one of the built-in word packs. Play with classic board game words or try a themed pack like animals, sports, or history.

The challenger sends the first clue. Think of a clue that relates each of the yellow words together, while avoiding a fourth card as much as possible.

When you receive a clue back from your partner, you’ll see all the same words, but the colors will be hidden. Make your best guess which words are related to the clue!

A game happens over a series of 10 hands. Rack up wins and try to get 10 in a row!

PRACTICE MODE

Practice giving clues in solo mode at varying difficulty levels. Come up with clues for just 2 cards on easy mode, or dial it way up to a 6 card hand.


HAND OF THE DAY

Every day, a new hand community-based hand will appear at the top of the app. These games are sourced from the community directly from top players and everyone can make a guess.


USER PROFILE

Login for Clues Up using Sign In with Apple. There’s no need to fill out a signup form or provide any personal information.

Clues up will add your first name to your profile and generate a unique username. Go to your profile page to change your display name and username.

Your username is how others find you for games.

Alternatively, send a friend your player link so they can quickly start a game with you. Found on your profile page.


CLUES UP PREMIUM

Clues up can be played entirely for free with ads. Clues Up will occasionally show ads between rounds of gameplay.

With a premium upgrade, you’ll unlock the ads-free mode, as well as all content for forever going forward. This includes premiums word packs, features like word pack mixing, game effects, and future advanced features.

Clues Up premium is a limited one-time upgrade for early adopters. In the future current content may be split up into separate upgrades, but a premium purchase today will lock in these features today.
