CLYNK is the only redemption system that enables you to drop off bags of redeemable containers and accumulate deposit fees in an electronic account to spend at your discretion—all in 15 seconds or less, because it is integrated with common everyday activities, like grocery shopping.



Our approach yields uncontaminated material that’s nearly 100% recyclable- and when you recycle the CLYNK way, containers are much less likely to end up in the ocean, landfilled or incinerated.



Step 1: Create your CLYNK account at clynk.com or at a CLYNK kiosk; if done online, your bag tags and card will be mailed and if at kiosk, you collect your tags and card during sign up.




Step 2: Download the CLYNK App – you can then scan the app instead of your physical card at participating CLYNK kiosks.




Step 3: Collect your used redeemable bottles and cans in the designated green recyclable CLYNK bag – be careful not to overstuff!

Step 4: Tag the bag securely with your personalized CLYNK bag tags which can be printed anytime you visit the CLYNK kiosk found at almost every Hannaford location in Maine and upstate New York.




Step 5: Drop the bags off at your nearest CLYNK drop-off location; don’t forget to scan each bag which ensures all your bottles and cans can be properly tracked by our system.
