Code Tool

Small but nice app for scanning and creating Barcodes/QR codes. There is no subscription required. You can generate a lot of different codes and encode a lot of different type of data into the Codes.

Code Tool can scan the following Codes:

- EAN8/EAN13
- PDF417
- QR Code
- UPC-E

Code Tool can generate the following Codes:

Code Tools understands the following types (Schemas) of encoded Data:

- URLs (http/https)

- Plain-Text - Whatever data is encoded you can always see the plain text.

You can Share the following Data with Code Tool:
- Plain-Text
- Contact
- URL
- Apple Maps Location

Please note, that Code Tool can't directly read any Data (Contacts, Events, etc.) from your Device. But you can share different type of Data through Apples ShareExtensions. Code Tool understands the Data and generate a Barcode with the correct Schema.

Not all type of Codes allow all type of data to be encoded. This is a technical limitation based on the amount of data that can be encoded and the characters that are allowed.
