Comfortzone Smart Heating

ComfortZone is a wifi controlled switch which allows you to monitor and control both room and water temperature in your home from your smartphone or tablet. It consists of three devices: Comfortzone Control, Comfortzone Room Thermostat and Comfortzone Tank Thermostat.

Devices

Comfortzone ROOM THERMOSTAT is a plug-in device that reads room temperature and sends that temperature to your smartphone or tablet via Wi-fi. Comfortzone TANK THERMOSTAT is a plug-in device that can read the water temperature in your hot water cylinder and send that temperature to your smartphone or tablet via Wi-fi.

Comfortzone CONTROL is a modern replacement for your existing boiler programmer/timer. It allows you to control of up to four zones of your heating system from your smartphone or tablet. Devices may be purchased from https://www.codemaker.ie


App Features

The Comfortzone app for iOS lets you create zones for each of the heating zones in your home. Each zone can have a Room Thermostat or Tank Thermostat to allow you to monitor room or hot water temperature. Each zone that you create has the following

features:
SMART HEATING The Smart Heating switch allows you to set a desired temperature for that zone. When the Smart Heating switch is on, your heating will only turn on when your desired temperature is above the actual temperature for that zone. Your heating will turn off when the desired temperature has been reached. To set a desired temperature, click on the zone from the Home page, then adjust the slider temperature up or down as required.

BOOST Use the boost button to turn your heating on for a pre-defined period of time. To change the boost time, click on the zone from the Home page.
TIMERS You can set timers to turn the Smart Heating feature on or off at any time of the day, 7 days a week. The Repeat feature allows you to repeat a timer for your chosen weekday. To set a timer, click on the zone from the Home page.

NOTIFICATIONS You can set an alarm to notify you when your Smart Heating has been left on for a prolonged period (2/4 hrs) or for when you’ve left home with the Smart Heating feature on.


Essential Requirements:
- ComfortZone Control should be installed by a qualified electrician or approved installer.
- A wifi router with an internet connection.
- An iOS smartphone or tablet with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
