Companion Animal Hospital opened in 1995, built from the ground up by husband-and-wife veterinarians Steve Byers and Tammy Truesdell. We have always offered one-stop shopping for pet owners in the Greater Wichita Area in a warm, home-like atmosphere. In 2012, we adopted a fear-free protocol for handling our patients. This philosophy is not only evident in our everyday care for our patients, but also in the force-free methods used in our dog-training classes. We employ one of the only Karen Pryor-certified obedience trainers in Kansas.
