We've championed a diverse range of out-of-school initiatives, from athletics and STEM education to dance and workforce training. Recognizing the growing interest in technology among our students and families, we've joined forces with Ennui Creative Inc., a seasoned app developer, to create an innovative online community platform.

Connect614 is more than an app; it's a space where families connect with our educators and volunteers, fostering creativity, community awareness, and the sharing of community organizations and events. This secure platform serves as a gateway to supplementary services, ensuring families have access to essential resources.

By extending our reach beyond physical locations, we aim to increase engagement and participation. We understand the evolving needs of OST (Out-of-School Time) organizations across the nation. They seek a safe, active, social platform supported by a digital partner with expertise in non-profit ventures. Our experience in cultivating learning-focused relationships uniquely positions us to pioneer a digital solution centered on extending existing connections.

Why Now?

Math skills, in particular, have suffered. The Lance and Aileen Porter Foundation recognizes the vital role of out-of-school learning, especially STEM programs. OST initiatives are instrumental in the recovery process.

Unfortunately, much of this time is spent on low-quality content that lacks meaningful connections to the local community. Connect614 addresses this gap by offering a platform where students actively participate in content creation.
