Cosmo's AR Showcase

This showcase app is an interactive, augmented reality experience that provides an example of how AR can be used to enhance informational, promotional and marketing items such as business cards, exhibit or tradeshow displays, posters, etc.

The App is activated by one of a series of anchor images either provided to the user or that can be freely downloaded from https://www.worker-studio.com/arshowcase.html. When anchored to the image, an animated character host, Cosmonut, appears on a rotating holographic disc, surrounded by tiles of various example companies.

When these tiles are clicked, an info card appears revealing options to view a video or visit an informational webpage about the company.

There are also options to take a screenshot that saves directly to the device’s photos or open a “photo-op” feature. The photo-op feature allows the user to place the character Cosmonut right in the “real world” so you can take a screenshot (photo) with him.
