Cuselight

Cuselight LLC is an e-commerce network based in Syracuse, NY and operations within universities, colleges, and cities throughout the United States.
Affordability, accessibility, and sustainability of academic and living resources such as books, electronics, and furniture are a pressing problem within academic institutions. The prices of products such as books and supplies are rising as time passes. Students are losing money by selling it through third party vendors such as bookstores instead of selling it directly to other students who needs these products. Cuselight provides a network and an optimal level of connectivity where individuals are able to conveniently facilitate transactions and interaction of different kinds.
Overtime, Cuselight has grown to be an inclusive network that offers many amenities and opportunities for everyone who is connected within the network. These include:
Marketplace: Users are able to buy and sell item from and to anyone connected within the Cuselight network. Users will be able to “Make an Offer” of a different amount for products that they wish to acquire.

Services: Users are able to Offer (promote) and Request services that they need i.e. tutor, photographer, movers, dog watcher, tech support, editor, writer, DJ, and much more to everyone connected within the Cuselight network. This serves as an opportunity for people to leverage the talent within their network while creating work/job opportunities for others.

Ride Share: Users will be able to Offer and Request Rides. Once a user requests a ride, everyone who has their “Ride Request Notification” on within the settings section, will be notified that someone needs a ride with details on time, location, and destination included. Users will be able to chat and also utilize the GPS system to navigate. Users will be able to request a ride for the near future as well as immediately.

Lighthouse/Wall: Users will be able to share information on events, activities, and discussions on things that arise within the college, community, or world. The lighthouse is a hub and resource for information. Users will be able to share thoughts, pictures, and videos to others within the network.

Message: Users will be able to message other users individually.

Notification: Users will receive notification through the Cuselight App and Website on corresponding user activity and messages.

Migration: Once a part of the Cuselight network, users will be able to access other institutions and navigate to and from each. This allows users to take advantage of resources and opportunities within all networks of Cuselight.
