Take steps to keep your bicycle that little bit safer. If you need to leave your ride in an unfamiliar area and you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, then use CycleSafer to perform a location based crime search and visually see all police reported bicycle thefts within a one-mile radius of your location. See bicycle theft hot spots and make an informed choice where to lock your bicycle thus leaving it that little bit safer. With CycleSafer, you can: -

i) Perform a crime based search at point of location anywhere in the United Kingdom using your phones GPS capabilities.

ii) Visually see on a map around you the location of bicycle thefts together with a count of how many bicycle thefts occurred in a particular area.

iii) Plan ahead for a journey and search the bicycle theft stats for any address in the United Kingdom using address auto-complete.

iv) Navigate to a crime free or lower crime area by dragging your current location marker to a place of your choosing. Currently compatible with Apple® Maps and Google Maps®.

Please note that only United Kingdom locations are covered and all data is provided by the UK Police. Crime statistics in Scotland may also appear much lower than they really are as only the British Transport Police provide crime statistic for Scotland.

It is impossible to predict where any future crime may occur.
