I knew that I was destined to make bath products after my experience using a handmade bar of soap for the first time. I was mesmerized by everything about it. It was a brown sugar scent and it filled the whole house with its sweet aroma. I didn't know anything about handmade soap at the time and all I could think about was "Where can I get this in my area". I recall going to Bath and Body Works searching for a bar that could compare to this. Little did I know that they do not sell this type of product. I only found body washes and the like. Although I love body washes, in my opinion they did not compare to the creamy lather that one can get from a bar of handmade soap. I decided that if I wanted to continue to experience the luxury of handmade soap that I would try to make it myself.



I started by doing months of research on the internet along with the purchase of many books before I even made my first batch of soap. I finally made my first batch and from that moment on, I knew I was hooked. And by the way, I continue to research the subject every day because you can never have enough knowledge on this subject. I am constantly learning! If you haven't tried a handmade bar of soap, you do not know what you are missing. Try one, I guarantee you will be hooked too.
