App Store Description

Deek has been developed over the past three years in collaboration with the recovery community in the North East. The aim is to share accurate up-to-date information about recovery resources in local communities.
Focus groups and workshops have demonstrated that there are community assets which can add to an individual or community's recovery capital. In addition to larger commissioned projects, there is a rich vein of places and people who support recovery. One consultation listed 198 resources in a city, only 13 of which were commissioned.
Doctors have indicated to us that having access to this information would be a significant aid to alleviating patients' isolation and loneliness.

Deek - Directory of Recovery provides a resource to share and highlight available resources across the country.

Anyone can add a new location to the map and leave a rating. There are four primary categories to rate:

- Helpfulness in recovery
- Likelihood of recommendation
- Ease of Access
- Friendliness
