Deepak Chopra, M.D. Introduces the Dream Weaver App for Apple iPhones to meditate, relax and dream instantly. You experience this program with the strobe light pulsing through your closed eyelids.

The Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver is an electronic machine that uses flashing lights to get the user to a meditative, relaxed or dream state at the touch of a button. Since it’s launch, people all over the world have been using and enjoying their Dream Weavers. It has gotten extensive media coverage including the front page of USA Today, on LinkedIn and on the Conan O’Brien Show. There is also a YouTube video with Deepak explaining the App.

Deepak notes, “I have been meditating daily and teaching meditation for over 30 years. It’s one of the most important things one can do. I recommend meditation on a regular basis, once in the morning and evening.” Some of the most successful people in the world practice meditation such as Arianna Huffington, Russell Simmons, Orlando Bloom, Goldie Hawn, Tina Turner, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and many more.

“While there is no substitute for authentic meditation, most wisdom traditions have evolved methods to help people achieve altered states and move towards the direction of transcendence such as chanting, kirtan, trance dance, etc. The rhythm of these wisdom tradition technologies actually slows people’s brain waves from their normal busy brain frequency we call Beta (13-30 cycles per second or Hz), to Alpha (8-13Hz) – meditation, Theta (4-8Hz) – deep relaxation and dreaming, and Delta (.5-4Hz) – dreamless sleep. Other cultures use peyote, ayahuasca, mushrooms and more recently LSD. One can also learn to control their brain waves through various neurofeedback technologies such as electroencephalograph, galvanic skin response, and heart, pulse and breath rates.”

“The Dream Weaver is different in that it does not require anything of the user other than showing up. The Dream Weaver app causes the LED strobe light on the smart phone to flash rhythmically from 20Hz to 0.5Hz. The experience is had with one’s eyes closed resulting in a meditative, relaxed or dream state depending on the program.”

The Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver light and sound mind machine has 16 LEDs, sells for $299 and comes with 9 Dream Weaver programs on disks. Additional program disks or downloads cost $14.95 each. With the Dream Weaver App you get the same programs, also for $14.95 each, but you don’t need to buy the Dream Weaver machine. The App programs use the electronics built into iPhones with LED camera strobes to deliver the experience. People with photo-induced epilepsy should not use these programs.

This first program, Virtual Trip to the Forest features Deepak Chopra M.D. narrating with holographic effects and music written and performed by Harvard’s Dr. Rudy Tanzi who is co-author with Deepak of the NYTimes best selling “Super Brain”.

Upcoming programs available for the Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver App include Deepak narrating his Path to Love, Being Still and the Bhagavad Gita.

WARNING - People with photo-induced epilepsy should not use this app or any other strobe light device.
