From our first day back in 1992, our hospital team has grown from a receptionist and a groomer to a full-service pet hospital providing the greater Springfield, Missouri area with medical and surgical care, required vaccinations, and boarding and spa services.

Dr. Caldwell is a native of Springfield, Missouri and attended Glendale High School. Dr. Roche was born and raised in St. Louis but now calls Springfield home. Both doctors graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia, Missouri in 1991. They moved to Springfield in 1992 to build this practice. Dr. Craig Bendickson joined the Deerfield team in 2004. Dr. Bendickson also graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and has experienced many facets of veterinary medicine over the past 20-plus years. “Doc” has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. 

The hospital staff has grown from one receptionist and one pet groomer in 1992 to a current staff of twelve. The doctors and staff of Deerfield Veterinary Hospital are committed to providing you the highest quality of care for your pet.

Our facility is a full-service pet hospital. We provide medical and surgical care as well as boarding and bathing services for your cat and dog. We have on-site lab diagnostics and blood testing, allowing pre surgical and senior screenings in our pet hospital. We have both X-ray and ultrasound and the latest and safest anesthetics available for your pet during surgery.
