App Store Description

With "dePuzzleMe" you can easily create a picture puzzle. You can then (also very easily) send it, surprise the recipient with it and challenge them to solve it.

Similar to the well-known "fifteen sliding puzzle", the aim is to slide 9, 16 or 25 puzzle tiles into the right position.

However, because the solution should be a complete picture (without the usual gap that allowes moving) here are two parking spaces outside the square.
These can be used to build temporarry gaps making movements possible.

The puzzle is created by cutting an initial image (from your "Photos"-collection) into a selectable number of tiles. Before cutting a suitable image section can be determined. Next step is dicing as often as you want.

How difficult the solution - the "depuzzleing" - for the recipient will depends on how many puzzle tiles you create and how the image section is justified behind the grid.

With "dePuzzleMe" you can also solve puzzles (created by "dePuzzleMe") you received from others.

"dePuzzleMe" also offers the possibility to create (more or less simple) number puzzles to play just for passing the time or to develop solution strategies.

Using the app is extremely easy and almost self-explanatory. After you have choosen one of the 3 operating modes
from start screen:

1 - Create puzzle directly from camera image (e.g. selfie).
2 - Create puzzle from image in "Photos" gallery
3 - Exercise with number puzzle

you always will get hints about what kind of actions
are possible in the given situation. These hints are shown above the puzzle square.

When creating a puzzle the image section and number of tiles are
adjustable only until your first tap at the dice. You may dice as often as you want. If you like the mixture, tap any tile and the puzzle becomes ready to dispatch.
The two parking spaces, the share button and a preview-eye appear.

The presence of the share button signals that the puzzle is ready for shipment (all tiles are located inside the square). Instead of sending it, you can of course try to solve the puzzle by yourself. The preview-eye can be helpful here. As long as a finger is hold on the eye, the solution is displayed. To move tiles, drag them in direction of a free position.

Sending the puzzle is initiated by tapping the share button. Then choose shipping method and recipient as usual - done!

The recipient will receive an internally generated screenshot of the puzzle square containing a conspicuous notice in its center. It tells that the received image is a puzzle created by "dePuzzleMe" and what to do if he is interested in solving it.

Solving a received puzzle is then (at least technically) very easy:
Use "dePuzzleMe" and act as if you will create a new puzzle from a picture. (Operating mode 2 in the start screen).
If the picture you select is already a puzzle created by "dePuzzleMe", then the app recognizes this by the image content and goes directly to solve mode.
That means the hint in the center is removed, the parking areas apper but no preview-eye!

Via the tab bar at the bottom you have access to more detailed instructions and some setting options such as language, sound, personalization of the embedded notice etc.
