DFO Rec ELog is a tool that is used by recreational anglers and guides to collect accurate and timely fishing information in order to effectively manage and ensure a sustainable fishery.
App features include:
- Ability to determine what fishing sub area the angler is currently located.
- Tracks where/when an angler caught various different types of fishing including Salmon, Groundfish, and Shellfish species.
- Review previous fishing trips and location of each individual catch.
- Ability to send catch information to DFO database that is used to manage and ensure sustainable fisheries.
