Digit Span Test
What is it about?
Digit Span Test is to measure the user's capacity to store numbers in the brain. A series of digits (e.g., 8, 3, 6) will be presented with either auditory (sound), visual (image), or auditory and visual cues and the user must repeat them back. A longer list will be presented with correct answer. The length of the longest list a person can remember on 50% trials is that person's digit span score.

Auditory and visual digit spans provide us with knowledge of the individual’s auditory and visual short-term memory. Short-term memory represents the actual quantity of information the individual takes in through his or her eyes and ears. Many of our problems associated with expectations and teaching are related to our lack of knowledge of these two very basic functions of processing what there is to see and hear.
