Pension Insurance for Seamen (PTS) is proud to present our new pension App! The app is made to make your everyday pension life simpler, while ensuring that you receive all the information you need, straight to the palm of your hand. Regardless of where you are in the world.

More and more of our 175.000 members prefer the phone as their primary information channel. This is why we have now given mobile access to all of our services. This also means you can see all of your months of seagoing service, and get messages and news from PTS.

If you have yet to receive your seaman’s pension, you can apply for this through the app, or get a full overview of what you can expect in payouts through our pension calculator.
Should you require help, information or other aid you can contact us through your message inbox inside the app. This is well secured through BankID and MinID login verification. You can also reach us through e-mail or by phone.

Secured through the ‘ID-Porten’ – All sensitive parts of the app are secured behind MinID or BankID login. PTS has thorough routines for storing of your personal data, such as information about your payouts.

About Us:

Pension Insurance for Seamen (PTS) is a statutory pension scheme for employees working at sea. Our main task is to pay pensions to seafarers when they are aged between 60 and 67 and to receive contributions to premiums from both employees and employers.
The scheme is managed by PTS which is a public body under the Norwegian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. PTS is managed by a board of five members of which four are appointed by employee and employer organisations while the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs appoints its chairman. We have 25 employees across five departments who all report directly to the director.
