What is it about?
Dockware's app will quickly dimension palletized cargo and provide the shipment's cubic volume and estimated freight class. It will alert the user when the shipment volume exceeds carrier thresholds and may trigger significant price changes (e.g. 350 cu ft. 750 cu ft, or 70 in length). In future builds the app will integrate directly with transportation management systems/inventory management systems, as well as use the cargo dimensions captured by the app to optimize trailer and/or container loading, as well as provide suggestions on how to cartonize new SKUs.
