App Store Description

Doing Fine
A simple press of the Check In button tells all your loved ones you're Doing Fine. This app is perfect for people who live alone, college kids reluctant to call home or travelers who need a simple, 5-second-a-day solution for staying in touch. We don't use GPS tracking so your privacy is assured.

How Does it Work?
It's very similar to Apple's alarm interface.
-Choose TIME and DAYS you'd like to be reminded to Check In
-Choose WHO you'd want to be alerted when you Check In
(You can choose an Individual or create a Group in this step)
-Choose whether you'd like your loved ones notified EVERY TIME you Check In, or ONLY when you miss a Check In.
The app lets you know that you've successfully added a Check In after you complete all the steps and hit Save. If you want to schedule more Check Ins go to the Manage Check In page on the app and repeat the process.

Checking In
You can schedule Check Ins as many times as you'd like, with as many people as you'd like, as long as each Check In is scheduled 30 minutes apart. Once you've created a Check In schedule it's really simple to Check In.
You'll receive a notification on your phone asking you to Check In with Doing Fine. (make sure to allow notifications during setup, the Persistent style works best) You simply open the notification, it takes you to the app and you hit the Check in NOW button. When you hit Check In Now the app lets you know that you've successfully Checked In and the person or group you've selected to receive your Check In will get a text letting them know that you're Doing Fine.
If you miss a Check In you will receive a reminder after 15 minutes. If you still can't or don't Check In within the next 15 minutes your contacts will be notified with a text that reads:
"Mom has missed a Check In. This MAY mean something is wrong." Then it's up to the receiver of the text to take action.
It's a simple way to provide Peace of Mind to your loved ones and also, to let them know that something maybe wrong if you haven't Checked In.
You can also Check In using the Unscheduled Check In feature. If you just want to let someone know you got home safely, simply choose Unscheduled Check In, pick a contact from the drop down menu and hit Check In Now. The person you choose will receive a text letting them know you're Doing Fine.

When would I use it?
-At College: Keep parents happy (and worry-free) in just a few seconds a day. You love them, you want them to know you're safe, you just don’t have the time to call or text every day.
-Living Alone: Make sure that IF something happened, SOMEONE would be notified.

Can I turn it off without deleting the app?
You can delete or turn off all of your Check In reminders in the Manage Check In section of the app.
