USING DOSESYSTEM

The App only works with a DoseCan or a DoseButton from DoseSystem.

DoseSystem reminds Medicine-users when it is time take their medication so they can become independent and their relatives can feel safe.

With the DoseSystem solutions we work hard to ensure that our users are reminded about their medicine and always are close to the medicine when it is time to acknowledge.We have developed the following solutions:

DoseCan: Medicine box with alarms, medicine and acknowledgement in one.

DoseLight: An App-Solution (DoseSystem App), that can be used by Medicine-users as a reminder with an associated acknowledgement- button (DoseButton). You acknowledge by scanning the barcode on the tablets and the button is used for acknowledging other medicines such as eye-drops, insulin, inhalators and more.

Notifications: With The DoseSystem App relatives can receive notifications, if Medicine-users forget to take their medicine, as an extra reassurance for both parties.

It is the responsibility of users and/or care staff that the system is being used correctly, including that the information entered into the system is correct and that DoseCan has been packed with the correct amounts of medicine. It is also the responsibility of the user and care staff to ensure that the App functions correctly on the devices on which the App is being used. Correct use of the DoseSyste also conditioned on the battery being charged, that the DoseCan system is turned on, and that there is access to a GSM network. DoseSystem assumes no responsibility for damage and losses as the result of the battery running out of power, the inability to gain access to a GSM network, the App not communicating with the connected devices, the DoseCan system not being turned on, or other circumstances over which DoseSystem holds no controlling influence.

It is the responsibility of the users and care staff to frequently check that everything functions correctly and to inform DoseSystem via info@dosesystem.com

In order to be able to use the DoseSystem app, your device must satisfy the following system requirements:

– Iphone/ Ipad: IOS 10 or newer
– Browser: Google Chrome, or Safari.

If the care staff, or user do not respond to a reminder or alert, or in some other way do not ensure that the DoseCan system is in a suitable condition, the DoseSystem will not function. It is therefore important to establish a clear division of responsibility between the App administrator, the party responsible for the medicine, care staff, back-up persons, and the user.

Please note that in case of an error occurring with the DoseCan system, an error message will be displayed in the DoseCan screen and the App will report a lack of connection. From that moment on, it is the responsibility of the back-up persons to alleviate the problem.
