dotVoting is a quick, simple and user-friendly app, that acts as an auxiliary digital tool to assist you during Design Sprints or other workshops, whether it’s in person or online. dotVoting is designed for the Sprint format, but works in practice in all creative workshops, where some ideas, images or sketches must be democratically selected over other.

Then we guess you have observed following scenario:

Colleagues are flocking around the paper sketched ideas on the white wall, noticing where the others are casting their votes. Heat is forming around specific sketches. The idea you thought had great potential is not getting any traction, and it seems pointless to vote for an idea, that has not yet been recognized. Instead, you start to wonder about which of the two most popular ideas you should cast your vote on.

We might not be aware of it, but we highly influence one another and the choices we make.

1508 has recognized this issue and dotVoting has been developed by the internal Talent Team, with the aim and wish to eliminate potential bias such as collective influence or unconscious strategic choices by anonymizing the voting process.
