What is it about?

This Doublage project shares a vision of the evolution of the urban landscape in relation to language. I imagine a future where there would no longer be physical language installed in the world as letters, symbols or signs... because information would only be transmitted through the Internet and digital technology. To invite the spectator to a foresight of this future, the project will take the form of an in situ installation with mixed reality technology in several places in Montpellier - interior and exterior spaces. The technique inserts 3D models into the real world using a visitor's tablet or laptop. As we walk through these places, both real and virtual, we can discover the layers of perception depending on the accessibility of the technology and share a hypothetical reflection.
