Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr. is the pastor and founder of Word of Life Christian Center in Darrow, Louisiana, a growing and thriving body of believers from various walks of life. He has been in the ministry since 1973, serving as a pastor since 1976. In 1983, his life was radically changed when he received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and revelation knowledge of God's Word transformed his life, and continues to increase his ministry.

Dr. Thompson is also the president and founder of the Leroy Thompson Ministerial Association, Ever Increasing Word Training Center and is the author of many best selling books including "Money Cometh to the Body of Christ," a book that has radically changed the mindset and finances of believers worldwide that have received its message. Along with pastoring the church in Darrow, LA, Dr. Thompson travels extensively across the United States and into other countries taking the message of biblical finances, proper church government and honor to the Body of Christ.

Dr. Thompson is happily married to his wife Carolyn of over 40 years. They have three sons and one daughter who all, along with their families, serve with them.
