App Store Description

This resource is aimed at UK Healthcare professionals only.

Dx3D is a medical education app aimed at UK radiologists. It is an educational resource aiming to educate on the identification and diagnosis of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). Dx3D utilises innovative 3D models and axial Computed Tomography (CT) images to guide and show users the pulmonary tree, surrounding structures and how to identify lesions in CTEPH. The app contains 4 modes: Healthy patient, Acute pulmonary embolism, CTEPH proximal lesions and CTEPH distal lesions. Each mode has a different patient case, through which the user can scroll through CT slices and identify potential lesions. The teaching mode introduces succinct learning points around the findings in each case and the image editor mode gives the user the opportunity to add notes to the slices, save and share their notes and findings.

Adverse events should be reported. Reporting forms and information can be found at https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk or search for MHRA Yellow Card in the App Store. Adverse events on MSD products should also be reported to Merck Sharp & Dohme (UK) Limited (Tel: 0208 154 8000 or Email: medicalinformationuk@msd.com).
