App Store Description

DZ Calc is a quick-reference planning tool for USAF tactical airlift aircrews.

The drop zone calculator computes minimum drop zone size requirements for US Air Force C-130 and C-17 aircraft in accordance with AFI 13-217 and computes circular drop zone requirements based on standard point of impact placement.

DZ Calc provides aerial delivery data such as minimum drop altitudes, airspeeds, and wind limits from AFI 11-231 and includes a CDS Calculator for computing minimum altitudes for high-velocity CDS airdrops and exit times.

A distance conversion tool is included.
