e-Psychiatry GPS Wizard: e-Psychiatry’s GPS Wizard helps you avoid locations that may trigger unhealthy feelings or actions, and obtain support when needed! You simply provide the addresses of unhealthy places you want to avoid. Then if your phone GPS indicates you are near an identified location for more than a few minutes, you will receive a helpful text encouraging you to consider avoiding the location, and allowing you to invite one or more of your support persons to contact you by phone to offer assistance.

For Example: If someone had difficulties with unhealthy alcohol use, they might identify addresses for local liquor stores, bars, and social clubs that could trigger their personal cravings to drink to excess.

e-Psychiatry’s GPS Wizard requires that you download the GPS Wizard app, and Sign In at www.e-Psychiatry.com (3 minutes, no cost) and fill out My Profile in the left hand toolbar, including your agreement to use the GPS Wizard.
