E-QYP

E-QYP® provides volunteers, mentors, foster parents and part-time, on-call, seasonal and full-time staff providing direct services and activities to young people with practitioner-driven, academic-reviewed child and youth development information and resources. It is intended specifically for those interested in understanding the young people with whom they work, their developmental needs, and want to provide quality program experiences for children and youth.

E-QYP® is designed for “Equipping Quality Youth Professionals®” with credible information about child and youth age groups; how to apply the information as a direct caregiver, sample activities that can be used, and examples of web sites and published resources that may be helpful when working with children and youth.

Additionally, E-QYP® is a great resource for supervisors of direct care volunteers and staff. It provides a platform for discussions about the developmental needs of different child and youth age groups, how to apply the information, sample activities to use with specific age groups of children and youth and web sites and published materials that may be useful when working with children and youth. It also serves as a great training and coaching tool for supervisors with volunteers and part-time and fulltime direct care staff.
