成都市营门口小学始建于二十世纪30年代，现座落于著名的金沙遗址旁，是金牛区一所具有七十多年办学历史的窗口学校。
学校占地6000多平方米，现有20个教学班，实现了班班多媒体设备和实物展台，有功能齐全的实验室、师生阅览室、藏书室、计算机室、心理咨询室、艺体功能室、多媒体教室和食堂等。教职员工53人中，小学高级教师42名，占任课教师总数的85%以上；市优青1名，区教育拔尖人才1名，区学科带头人2名，区骨干教师26人次。
