根据省民政厅成立社会团体组织的有关规定，经省质量技术监局党组会议研究决定，成立山西省认证认可协会。2012年 3月 1日，山西省认证认可协会召开全体会员大会，会议通过了《山西省认证认可协会章程》；选举产生了山西省认证认可 协会理事、常务理事、会长、常务副会长、副会长、秘书长；聘请山西省认证认可协会顾问、名誉会长、特约常务理事； 讨论通过《山西省认证认可协会服务公约》和促进协会成员行为自律公约。
