「遊蹤及實地考察系統」是一個能讓學生在課室以外，使用平板電腦進行定向活動的系統。
1. 進行活動
老師運用「遊蹤及實地考察系統」的網上版發放活動後，學生就可以於在線的平板電腦開啟此系統，下載老師已發放的活動，然後學生便可在室外和電腦離線的狀態下進行活動。學生需要根據活動中的任務導向指示，到達不同的檢查點掃描QR Code，取得任務內容並進行作答，以完成所有關卡問題。
2. 完成活動及查看老師評分
完成後，學生需要於在線狀態下上傳答案。然後學生就可在此即時查看自己所屬組別的成績及老師意見。
